The family Pongratz who owned the baroque castle in Dornava, have planted vine on the ridge of Lahonščak in the early 18th Century. The family Krajnc also has a long wine tradition, since the southern side of the hill is owned by the family for generations. Wine grooving has been a primary occupation of the family since 1988.
Vines, which grow on 4 hectares of land (20 000 vines), ripen in our own wine cellar, built in the middle of the vineyard in 1888.
Top quality wines ripen in wine casks made of oak; inox containers preserve the youth and freshness of our wines, named by old family name – Skrbič wine.
